All ROMs including parent ROMs are showing up in game list. How do I just keep the ones for the games themselves and not show the non-working parents rom file names?
Thanks!

Wish I could help on this one. I'm not good at filtering. I did try however..but when I added two rules to the same filter it always came up blank. I hand merged and deleted my list..so I only have to filter by category or controls ect.

Ok thanks Fox.
Anyone else run into this and find a solution?

I have this in my ALL filter...
target="CloneOf", comparison="does not equal" and the filter value=".*" (dot star)
-
Does it work well?
-
yes it filtered out all the clones
-
how to you implement this?
-
Add it in the displays section of the display you have. There are already 2 filters created in there 1. All 2. Favorites. Open the All and add it there.

If I have one or more filters how do I choose which one to use?

If I have one or more filters how do I choose which one to use?
Set a key or button to bring up the "Filters Menu" in Configure-->Controls-->Filters Menu.

Set a key or button to bring up the "Filters Menu" in Configure-->Controls-->Filters Menu.
You can also map keys to the "Previous Filter" and "Next Filter" commands and use those keys to cycle through the filters

I am having issues adding this rule (target="CloneOf", comparison="does not equal" and the filter value=".*") to the "All" filter.
I press "Tab" > "Display" > "Mame" and in "Display Edit", I choose filter "All" but when I go into "Rule" and select "Target" the section to type something does nothing. I see a yellow box around the blue bar but nothing comes up when I type :(
It's strange that I can create a new filter call "No Clones" but can't type anything in the "Target" / "Comparision" fields but I can type the ".*" (dot star) in the "Filter Value" field...

You have to choose "Target" and "Comparision" options by using the up and down arrows. These are not free form text fields that can be typed in.
