I want to start working on an Attract Mode layout and wanted to use Attract Mode on VirtualBox for testing. I've installed the VirtualBox with Debian Jessie without a desktop environment (I wanted the minimum essential stuff.)
I followed the wiki "Compiling on Debian Jessie" but Attract Mode doesn't start (Some "Segmentation fault" error).
Questions:
1. Is it actual possible to have Attract Mode running with the above setup without a desktop environment?
2. Any idea how I can get AM to work on a VirtualBox Debian Jessie without installing the desktop environment and using the installation package on the site?
