Title: don't know what this window is..

How do i get the letter/number screen out of the middle? what is it and how did it get there?  Can i disable
it in a setting somewhere?  it shows up on every console

Hi, you have pressed the button tou assigned to custom1 in the AM controls options to bring up the search dialog for the HyperPie2 theme. Press custom1 again to hide it.

ack!  i do that and i get a different search menu. is full screen and says Search FOR:  so confusing..

OK, that is weird. Post your attract.cfg file. Also try and disable the keyboard serach plugin from attract mode options/plugins

disabling the keyboard search plugin didn't do a thing.  i still get that overlay in the middle screen.  reboot doest affect it, nor anything..

it wasn't there at first..

this is like a virtual keyboard.. like its asking me for a name.

I lie disabling the keyboard search brought up the same window, but in transparent.. and it allowed me to select the characters.. once I hit done the top
transparency went away and the original problem was up.. kinda like this overlay is always on.

ok i fixed it..

i recompile attract mode to the last march commit.  something in the april commits is causing this.. don't do an update attract mode.
