Title: Show Last Selection not working

Seems like it would be straightforward but I can't get it to work, no matter what it boots up to my Nintendo Favorites section. It doesn't matter what I play last. I have the setting set to:
General > Startup Mode : Show Last Selection (Default)

It is pretty straight forward if you exit AM (AttractMode) properly and then shutdown the OS (Operating System) properly.

The only place I have seen issues is with people using a Raspberry Pi and don't use the proper shutdown commands when exiting AM.

What's your:
- hardware
- OS
- layout
- AM exit command

Are you using RetroPie and/or toggling between another FE (Frontend)?

I'm shutting down just through the menu in AM, I don't know how to find the AM exit command. I'm only using attract mode and no other front ends.
Is there a way to over ride the startup selection in a file somewhere? I can't figure out why it always goes to the same system on boot no matter what I do.
