How can I delete everything on favorites and start from scratch?

Rename or delete the corresponding file located in /attract/romlists/<system/emulator name>.tag.

If you're talking about some third party favorites configuration, you need to provide more information or you might look for something like /attract/romlists/favorites.txt

Got wolfanoz arcade image and want to have my own favs not his so I want to do away with that

I personally don't use any images or know what the "wolfanoz arcade image" is, maybe someone else will.

Did you look for /attract/romlists/favorites.txt and/or /attract/romlists/<system/emulator name>.tag files like I suggested in my previous post?
