which filter to use to exclude mame games that need chd?
-
if i recall correctly it uses the Extra column to provide that info. However you MUST have used the listxml.xml on the info source scraper when building your list. Meaning that you used a "real" version of mame and not a retroach core.
You can use a version of mameUI or Arcade to make a list based on just chd games.
As I understand a full chd set is roughly err 400-ish GB? (this is just the arcade side mind you) however most chd games are marked as not working in mame. So you could make a list of non working games as well and work that way if you want.

thank you friend, in fact I opted to eliminate games that require chd and non-functioning from my set, with one of the many programs that allow it.
