Title: [Preview] Lite Themes for very old hardware (PIII, P4)
Post by: AquaRed on May 22, 2021, 05:46:16 AM: This is the themes i made to work on very old hardware. There are no effects or any candy. they are basic themes with tinified graphics.

Features:
Resolution: 640x480
Info: DisplayName, Year, Manufacturer, Buttons, Players, Category, Name, CloneOf, PlayedCount, ListEntry/ListSize, FilterName, Favorite, Date, Time.
Artwork: snap, video, wheel, marquee.
Needs: shuffle module (for some themes).

I wanted some themes that don't use any extra plugins or modules that will work fast without lag on ANY hardware even on very old PIII, P4 (256-512MB RAM). so i created some of my own based on pandora's box graphics. i have test them and they work very fast (compared to other themes).

The mame4all graphics is from android. :P I also created an alternative with "Kawaks" for logo and kof-sf characters.

[!] I just finished "Heroes 5" Theme.

What themes you like more? :D
Also don't expect anything fancy. they are minimal themes for old hardware. :P

I also prefer this kind of themes. i have tested many good themes from here but the problem on very old hardware (PIII-P4, 256-512RAM) is that they lag a lot and they are not practical for every day use. others was not working in the most recent version or Î¹ did not like them.

If you want i can customize it to have ms-dos logo instead of mame :) (updated!)

BTW, the bluebox2 theme was made to match the colors of AM. :D like a "default" theme.
