I added an emulator called "Retroarch" without realizing that I should also add the core name as well since I'll have to make separate ones for separate cores. How to I rename the one I've made so that I don't have to rescrape everything for it?
-
Rename the file retroarch in the path attractmode/emulators to retroarch-nes
Do a search/replace in the attractmode/romlists for retroarch and replace with retroarch-nes
___
Hope this helps.

Thanks bionic, I thought it'd be something like that, but I'm actually using the OSX version (sorry, should've clarified) and when I go inside the app's contents, and then go to the config/emulators path there is no RetroArch file...

hmm...if you can enter the cmd prompt, terminal it might be in .attract
Someone using a mac will hopefully reply to you soon.

On Mac there should be a .attract directory in your home directory. Your emulator config and romlist files should be in there....
-
I'm on linux should be the same....
if you mean rename as in the emulator name.. easy (Close AM down first before proceeding!)
Open your file browser...show hidden folders/files (a dot at the front makes it hidden ex .attract) Then in your .attract folder goto emulators in there choose a cfg file and rename it. (ex. MAME to Arcade)
In your attract configuration (start AM and press TAB under emulators your names should reflect your changes
