Thanks, so then the problem is that I previously launched it in a higher resolution (I had 800x600 at the time I believe). I got home and tried looking for the "window.am" but can't find it. I do have a attract.am though. I don't seem to have an attractmode sub folder to look into either. I'm running v2.5.1 windows7 64bits.

I'm using Game Station as the theme. The pc is on Windows 7, i3 7350k, ATI HD 6450, 8gb ram on an asrock mother board.

The images are stored in the attract mode folder scraps/mame/flyers

All other parts of the scraps folder is working (marquee, snaps and wheels I believe they are called).

When I had set it up on my other computer it worked without a problem.

Sorry if this sounds incredibly newbish but what is a emulator.cfg?

Thank you so much! Do I also input the frequency somewhere? It seems like it's going at 31khz because I can connect to the lcd and it will work till I quit attract mode after which it goes back to 15khz and becomes incompatible.

Also out of curiosity, had I launched Attract Mode for the first time from the crt would it have set up and adjusted to 15khz right away or was this an avoidable step in setting it up for running on a crt?

Hello,

I might have made the mistake of configuring Attract Mode when the PC was still hooked up to an lcd, and now that I'm on a CRT I seem to be unable to open attract mame. What can I do to fix this?

I have this weird problem in my latest install where artworks no longer display. The snaps videos play fine and all the files are in their proper folders yet instead I get a no image available message. I'm using Windows 7 pro.

Hello all,

When i first installed Attract Mode on my PC I was able to get all Mame games to display their proper names and not the .zip extensions, and it also skipped all the bios files so i didnt have stuff like neogeo.zip as a game entry, however on subsequent installs I just can't get that to happen anymore, so i always have all the files names and all the bios files listed as well.

I got it working. This theme is insane. Everything just works perfectly as it should and the layout is outstanding. One thing I can't seem to find is the flyer aspect ratio feature, that was added to Gamestation. Is this not integrated into the Silky theme? If that were added in this is pretty much the perfect theme imo.

I'm using Windows 7 and tried on both Firefox and Chrome. I'll try from my laptop Mac OS later to see if it works. Maybe it's because I'm a new member.

I am new to Attract Mode and have been using the Game Station that came packaged with Attract Mode which seems a bit different (without the side screenshots). I play on a crt in 4:3 and my biggest problem with this awesome theme is that the videos are not displayed in 4:3 but are squished horizontally. Is there any way to force the videos to stay in proper resolution similarly to how one can force the flyers to stay in proper resolution? Even if this means getting black bars on the top and bottom of the videos I would gladly take that.

When I try on a widescreen display they display properly but not on 4:3 displays.

Secondly and less important is there any way to remove the logos that appear on the top? I favor simpler looks and would have loved for such a feature to be added in the options but since it's not I'd be open to learning to do it manually if someone can teach me how to.
