The first line is the header and shouldn't contain a game name

I put that line as the first line on the romlist, and now the first games shows in the frontend (because now is the second line)
But it has created an entry in the frontend, like it was a new game, but empty and of course, no artwork is shown
Maybe I can use some filter to make the frontend not show that header line as a game?

Did you manually create your romlist files, or did you auto-generate them?

I'm making copy/paste to make some more foused lists

For example, as NesicaXlive games are in fact Type X2 games, I'm making a new list

The strange thing is that this only happens in the first line...

Hi

I have a problem with all my romlists
The first line of the romlist TXT files it's not recognized for Attract Mode
I'm using the NesicaXLive theme
Something is happening at that first line
For example, if I change the order and make the second line be the first one, the that game does not get recognized

Example:

I have

LINE 1: Street fighter iv (with the rest of the parameters in order)
LINE 2: King of fighters XII (with the rest of the parameters in order)

Street Figher does no show any artwork in the frontend

And if I change the order:

LINE 1: King of fighters XII (with the rest of the parameters in order)
LINE 2: Street fighter iv (with the rest of the parameters in order)

KOF xii it's not recognized

Any help appreciated

EDIT: Tried first with Rocket Launcher but it did not work, so I tried the shorcuts "version" and it works great

Hi
You're right, it was an issue with my config... It was the romlist, that had a different name on it than the name I defined for the system
Now, I have Sega Model 2 running, and I think all the "normal" emulators (I mean the ones which have a real emulator program) will work
So thanks for point me in the right direction about what to check

Now, I'm trying to run the NesicaXLive, Taito Type X and other PC Games, but I don't know how to do it, as they don't have an emulator program to run the games

Any idea about this kind of games?

Do the games work in the emulators (without Attract-Mode and RocketLauncher)?

Yes, If I run them without Attract Mode or Rocket Launcher, they work flawlessly

Do the games work in RocketLauncher?

If I run a game MANUALLY from Rocket Launcher, it does work fine

One of the problems is that Rocket Launcher does not read the romlist in .TXT format, I've tried to make an XML but it does not work (it says "error parsing XML file")

I've installed the Rocket Launcher Integration Pack, and it's suppossed that it makes Rocket Launcher able to read Attract Mode romlsts, but it does not work for me

With the Integration Pack installed, Rocket Launcher shows the emulators list from Attract Mode, but I can't make it to read the romlist.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know where to look

I've installed Rocket Launcher and Attract Mode in the root of an external hard drive (it's F: drive) Does it needs to be on C: drive?

General / [SOLVED] Unable to play any game

Hi

I've configured the frontend with the NesicaXlive theme correctly (I can see the videos and the rest of the graphics)
But I'm not able to run any game (I'm using it in conjuntcion with Rocket Launcher UI)
I have three systems right now: Newsica, Taito Type X and Sega Model 2
Any of them works
I don't know what to do, really
Any help is appreciated

Well to start off with your running an old version of the layout id recommend you update it with the new updates of layout only or full pack

I've donwloaded from the link in the first post... Is there an updated version? Where can I get it?

EDIT: I've downloaded again and started configuration from scratch and now it shows the logo too

Another question is: Can I use your theme for other systems, besides Nesica?

if you have downloaded and installed the rocketlauncher integration pack it lets rocketlauncher read games gamelist

I've not installed it yet... Where can I find it?

EDIT: Found it and installed, but I'm not able to run any game with RL and AM

Hi

i am unsure of what logo you are reffering to if you extracted it to the root of a drive all the default artwork should load

The logo I'm talking about is the one on the top left corner

you dont need xmls arcadebliss made a plugin for AM to work with it

I'm using AM in conjunction with Rocket Launcher... How can I generate a gamelist for it?

I made every single one of them, so their custom.

Are you planning on make those for other systems? If not, is it possible to get marquees form Internet and resize them? Will it work?

Hi

First of all, congratulations for making such a beautiful theme

I've just installed the frontend only to have your theme, because I was using Hyperspin until yesterday...

I've set up AM and your theme, the videos showing fine and the marquees for selecting the games works fine too

I have a couple questions...

1) The theme is asking for a logo (the logo for the system) I'm not able to find it myself... Where is it?
2) Where can I find the XML Database for NesicaXLive? (I need it because I'm using Rocketlauncher UI in conjunction with AM)
3) I plan to make AM and your frontend my default, so I'll migrate all my systems from HP to AM, so where can I find the marquees for other systems and games? (the ones at the bottom which makes the "wheel")

Hope I'm not asking too much
