Themes / Re: some robospin-like themes

Anyone know where these themes can still be downloaded?  The original links appear to be dead.

No problem I'll upload the backgrounds without the boxart and more systems backgrounds I have finished.

I'm a bit busy these days but I'll try to upload them as soon as possible.

Regards.

I know we're all busy, but I'd appreciate it if you could upload that art when you get a moment.

Here's the last one I'm doing unless I hear back from Nismo about getting art without the box images.  For some reason the transparent overlays look TERRIBLE in this screenshot, but I promise they don't look like that in the real theme.  Must be something about how attractmode takes screen shots.

Here's the GameBoy version.  I have prepared a GameGear version as well; however, the GameGear art available from all my sources is a different version from what Nismo included in his image.  I have PMed him and asked for an image without the blank box art.  If he grants my request, I will post a layout for the GameGear at that time.

Thanks!

I looked in the nut file for the theme and was able to edit it pretty readily.  I have obviously customized these to my own taste (gradient overlay sidebar graphic, etc) but I'm going to share the nut files I've made with the community as I complete them.  Credit to Spinelli for the theme, Ptiwee for the original code and Nismo for the images that I used...

The first two I have complete are The GBA and GBC.

Is there anyone out there in the community that knows how to adjust the .nut files to use nismo's awesome art for the handheld game systems?  I really want to use those images!

General / Re: Runcommand box not showing in AM but shows in ES?
« on: December 26, 2016, 05:51:36 PM »
I'm going to resurrect an old thread because I have the same issue outlined above.

I never see the grey box; HOWEVER, if I hit a key anyway right after launching a game the game never launches and I just see the AM display.  The other user said this was a lock-up that required a hard-reset of AM.  It's not!  I know this because if I hit "q" in this state, I am returned to the AM display and everything is live again.

What's happening is the AM display is staying on the screen until the rom itself appears.  The runcommand "box" is looking for input to launch the menu and if I know the keys to hit I am actually navigating the menu (hence why "q" returns me to AM).  I just can't see the runcommand menu.

I never observed this behavior when using Floob's image - just on a clean install I just startred today where I installed AM from the experimental package list on the RetroPie startup.

To be clear - I observe this behavior with both "Fill Screen" and "Full Screen" mode selected.
