 :)Huge thanks to you bro, good to learn more about AM.
I got it all working by converting to HS XML, but I will also the alternative way you mentioned above to use RL provided for less headaches.

Why I am importing frontend to use with Hyperspin for some systems instead of using hyperspin themes because it has the feel of real cabinet from japan with creative designers sitting in this forum.

Since you know how to do it is easy for you for me is like a hell haha.

Recently I have started to rename the Hyperspin NesicaXLive.XML to match the game titles as your romlist, because I am using my default RL and not the one in your pack reason is I was facing some problems in fail of launching some of the games. With messages like you have not set the game in your RL. Once I renamed few games in the Hyperspin XML the games launches fine. But I have to go thru 1 by 1 to rename / I checked your old posts that RL does not need Hyperspin Nesica XML if is using AM rom list. But I cant see anything in RL under games. Plugins are all set.

So my question is what I am doing above to rename XML is right path? Because I doubt RL will not read the romlist if is not in the AM Folder ?

How about the games must put into the fold of games or I can use different directory?
Another problem I have notice is once we exit the game and back to AM , it does not go back to full screen resolution instead it remain as per the game , therefore one side of AM become hidden

You can place your games where ever you like and define, by the pc game moduel inside rocketlauncher

and to answer 2:

Depends on the game really, some games do break resolution others do not their is 3 Solutions To fixing this issue that i know off the top of my head.

1st Solution is to turn on Res Fix inside AMs default plugins this will force AM to redraw everytime you load any game this can be annoying for some since not all games break res and this is gobal

2nd Method, Force the game to run in native resolution so a Res change never happens, this can be tricky to do as you need custom dlls to enforce some games to do what you like and it can be a pain

3rd Method Use Resfix Inside rocket-launcher as a post game application Rocketlauncher has the ability to run applications after a game is no longer active you can then turn on the res fix feature to fix and restore resolution


Personally I use method 2and 3 for those I cannot use method 2 on, however for you with out knowing ahk or knowledge of other things using method 1 is prolly the easist

Method 1 is the easiest and solved the problem.
Why don't you use method 1 too is less headache.

Upgraded to the new package , thank you for your efforts.
Some wheel can display correctly but some does not exist on the frontend , it says please check the path but all is same path and some can display without problem.

May I know if some wheels name have been changed for causing this?

Finally I got it working with Rocket Launcher.
Now only problem left is when I test one game via attract.exe, after first time exit I want to switch to 2nd game attract.exe does not respond at all. I need completely force close it before I can launch another game.
I have notice the cmd window popups after exiting the game and that might be the reason causing losing of function with attractmode. Please help me to solve thank you so much

Rocket-launcher works properly with the database given I should also mention this is a theme rocketlaunher issues are not mine to solve. however using this setup rocket-launcher works correctly, so your doing something wrong on your end.

Exactly my settings are same in ini as per yours.
Did you add the games in ini manually or thru the rocket launcher?
If thru the rockerlauncher you will need the database of games right?
if thats the case where did you put the database file?

If I want to rename the AM theme of nesica to follow proper game database name ,  which folders &  files I need to rename , wheels and what else?


I know RocketLauncher cannot read and run games, if use Nesica theme database created here.
It wont work without adding per game in pclauncher.ini module.

By all means we need a proper database which will match all the artworks and which will enable us to setup rocketlauncher properly.

What about other members here how you get it working with Rocketlauncher?

Since I am using Attract mode & Rocket launcher

Could it be the game database provided with AM package does not match the one that I have Nesica official database in Rocket launcher?

Rocketlauncher without proper game database,  it is not possible to set the modules.
Please advise

Apparently it is module configuration of emulator

PC Launcher Module is the one I am using and settings are the same as taito type x games. I can run the nesica games with Hyperspin frontend via RL but cannot with AM via RL. Maybe somewhere is the problem.

Yes I have changed the path to rocketlauncher.exe and now seems ok but just small problem left.

Tried launching one game but getting one error on the screen which is quiet long will take a screen shot for you tonight.

same game run fine via rocketlauncher.

Hi Friends Happy New Year

I am new here and first time writing.

I am user of HS and RL for few years.

Recently I have added Nesica system and love this theme thank you so much .
What I did was launching this theme via HS wheel that is pretty awesome instead of rolling the wheels for this system.

Now I am having some difficulties to set this up.
I am trying to launch Nesica games by RocketLauncher with Nesicaxlive AM frontend , but when I select the game and launch , RL will startup and not the game.
What am I doing wrong? I have already set plugins but I believe latest RL are build in plugins for AM.
