General / Can't scrape metadata on wills arcade set v3.3

Hey all.

I'm trying to add metadata to wills arcade set v3.3 on my Pi3B image. I found a guide in here that I followed. But nothing happens.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it something in Will's that needs to be changede to make it work?

General / Attract mode to emulationstation button

Hey all.

I have started on a new image where I installed Attract mode from the experimental menu.
My question is, how do I add the emulationstation button in Attract mode. And the Attract mode button in emulationstation, so I can skip between them.

And also, I can't find anything on how to get the setup options in Attract mode to work (Bluetooth, WiFi and so on)
Any one who got a guide, or a script for that? 🙃

Thanks for the quick respond. I will format my sd card, put a fresh Retropie on it. And install Attract Mode from the command line, and follow the F.A.Q guide.
I'm on a Pi3B.
It's odd that MLP's 3 year videos don't work any more. He schould delete them, and make some new ones 😁

Hey.

So first I Installed through experimental. Then followed MadLittlePixel's video to add the "switch to attract mode" option in the configuration menu.
It started fine, but the setup menu in Attract mode was missing.
Then I deleted it, and followed another MadLittlePixel's video on how to install Attract Mode from the prompt, instead of experimental menu. And now I can't even get Attract mode to start up 🤦🏼‍♂️
If I need to start all over on a fresh image. What will be the best way to get a clean Attract Mode installed?

General / Missing Setup Menu / Attract Mode Setup menu

Hey

I made a fresh image on my Pi 3B with a official Retropie image. Then i added Attract Mode from the experimental menu.
Then i followed MadLittlePixel's video on how to add the option to shift to Attract mode from Emulation Station.
The problem is that now when im in Attract mode, i can see that i dont have the Setup menu. I only have the Display menu, and the systems that i added myself.
Did i do something wrong?

I also found out that i need to manuel add the option to use hardware exceleration for videosnaps (I forund a guide for that)

And i have a problem, that when i'm in a system (like Snes) and press Back button. The it ask me if i want to exit, insted of going back to the system display menu. How do i fix that ?

I regret that i didn't use Floob's image with Attract mode in it. But i don't want to start all over again. So i hope the problems by adding Attract Mode through the Experimental menu, can be fixed

Got boxart working great on all themes.  Just a random note, has anyone else noticed that MSX emulation is not completed?  Used to play 2 games as a kid on MSX called Snake It and Oh S**t!! and both have digitized speech but not on emulation.  I checked on youtube for game play both have the speech but not on retropie.  Use to use bluemsx on pc years ago and it worked but can't get it to work on retropie as boots me back to the game selection screen.  Fmsx works but no speech.  Very strange.

I wouldn't know where to start with something like that, best asking over on the Retropie reddit than here.

For Amiga and C64 I just use the themes below, they are not mine but by a guy called Humayun Hasan on the The Amiga RetroPie WHDLoad Pack Group

Thanks for the Amiga theme! Looks like it's the one I all ready have. But for some odd reason. I can't get the box art and text to work. So my left side is mostly empty.
It is set to on. And the box art are named the same as the game files.
Do any one have any idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Like many others, i have startede out with Rey's 128GB Image. I'm Building on from that. A I have a few questions which I can not find answers to. And I hope therefore that you can help me:

-Is it possible to create a folder called "Collections" where you can put all the Collections into. Like Disney, Turtles, and so on?

-How do i add Kodi to the Wheel in Attract Mode like in this video?

-At the bottom of the screen when you use RoboSpin. Are there at most systems a bar at the bottom of the screen where it says the year, name and how many games there are in the folder. However, in some of the folders/systems, there is no bar in the bottom. How do you add it?

-Is it possible to change "Exit" i the main Wheel to "Shutdown" so it will shut down the Pi. In stead of going in to setup ?

This layout is compatible con marquees and i have been experimenting with adding some crt effect to the screen (the shaders doesn't seem to work in retropie). You can enable or disable changing the cabinet in the layout options.

What marquee pack are you using?

That's so cool. I will try to get the main Wheel to Work with Hursty's. Don't know if that is changede the same way as the others

I just got a bit insecure about how to change the main layout. I can se that it is located elsewhere that the other layouts. right now i have the Robospin. I guess that i don't just copy over the files in the main layout section?
