My apologies. Here's the info.

Not using Disk Images
Not sure what you mean about running Attract without Terminal
3rd party apps, the only ones I am using is Rocketlauncher, LEDBLinky and Ultramap.
Operating System Windows 7 Ultimate, and Attract Mode 2.6.1

Everything seems to be fine but once I Exit completely out of AttractMods and go back to my Desktop, I lose the taskbar and pointer. Dumbfounded. Thanks for any help!

I use UltraMap for my four 360s, but am having trouble getting it to work on AM. I am getting an error with a null variable. Does anyone have this working successfully, and if so, how did you set up your maps to correlate with AM? In Rocketlauncher I have the maps working fine per game. But I am trying to remove RL from my processes.

General / Question about folder hierarchy

New to AM, recent Hyperspin refugee. So far things seem to be coming together except I can’t understand the naming convention and the folder placement for the artwork.

For example. I name the system Nintendo Entertainment System, set up the emulator and concert my xml to txt and everything works. The artwork, I scrape from the available options, and it puts all of the art in the scraper folder. I type in the full address to that folder and I’m having trouble getting it to work. Am I supposed to move the art to another folder or create my own, and how do I know what to name the folders? Also, some themes use things like marquee, icon, snap, wheel, etc.

Can someone just give me a basic idea of where AM looks for the artwork, how do I set it correctly, and what I may be doing wrong? Thanks!

Thank you very much for the details. One thing I'm curious, I plan on using RL as my main launcher, and AM for the pretty. I run AHK commands thru RL for my PC games. I'm assuming that if RL is doing the bulk of the work, then I should be okay. My issues with Hyperspin is  the lack of updates with newer programs. But if I can't call LEDBlinky or HyperEDS from AM then it's a bust.

Hi everyone,

Before I make the jump to AttractMode, I am curious as to how easy of a transition it will be from my Hyperspin expertise, which has taken up way too much of my time for the past three years.

I use the following programs with HS, and would like to know if they are compatible. Thanks!

LEDBlinky
HyperMarquee
HyperEDS
HiToText
UltraMap (Ultrastik 360s)
Rocketlauncher
