Good work!

But i must say, at the first look (3 seconds) i already see NTSC games that were PAL faked.

That's not a good way ...like hyperspin artwork (let's fake together some pal for ntsc / ntsc for japanese  artwork or artwork where we are to lazy to find the real one.)

I simply have 3 folders:
Boxart (Europe) contains every PAL cover out there (Germany, Spain usw...)
Boxart (USA)
Boxart (Japan)
and there is none missing.

My friend and I are collectors too, so it's easy to scan the real cover if you don't find it already online.

You have done a good work...but it hurts to see FAKE COVERS in nearly every Artwork source out there.
Suggestion: Mark the faked ones.

Same Problem here (it was always working this way):

Windows 7 PC
Arcade64.exe (Version 0.199 or 0.200) (exported gamelist.xml or not)
listxml
It seems that AM is not reading the XML files correctly

nplayers.ini = works (get imported)
catver.ini = works (get imported)
history.dat = work (it's index get created in AM)

Update: AM (listxml) importing XML from HBMAMEUI64.exe works fine!
No idea why its not working with Arcade64.exe (you know the former MAMEUIFX)

Mothra, I tried your Robospin HD layout, but the cabinet is not showing. what am I doing wrong?

I did forget to downscale the image to 1920x1080....!
(I use display scaling in my nvidia settings so i didn't noticed)

The new Coordinates for Flyer/Marquee/Game Display in the NUT Files must be ok for everyone.
@FinalFightMan: In the Display Settings you can change the look (like the original 4:3 version) and the Emulator Setting must point to (for example) your flyer artwork directory.

Hello JulesB!

Was about time that some Hyperspin Themes come to a far better frontend (Attract Mode)!

It would be a pitty when they finally get lost. I don't give hyperspin, the complete mess, choppy and incomplete frontend more than 3 years to survive. We have 2017 there are many good frontends on the market.

It would be a good idea if you correct/update them to being used for attract mode and upload it... and not promoting this old incomplete frontend anymore. Subscription...for what? You get everything for free just search!

This is the Attract Mode Forum... just saying..

PS:
Its a really good idea to port this... The System Themes from you working fine in Attract Mode (Hyperspin.nut)
But please don't expect that someone just download Hyperspin for the Editor to edit the layout xmls.

It's working again by putting it in a directory!

Now i have my 10+ promotion/commercial videos per system randomized again!
...and the System Boxart with different released Boxes.

and the roms were you have only one rom release (Europe, Japan and America) for example: NGPocket switches randomly between 3 Boxarts.

Hello Devs!

I miss an important Feature (maybe it was not on purpose) but it worked with Attract Mode 2.1.0(exe) very well:

Randomizing Videos or Boxart were i have diffent Intro Videos for one System or different Boxart for one Game/Rom (Europe, USA).

Example System Video: Atari2600.mp4, Atari2600..mp4, Atari2600...mp4, Atari2600....mp4
will randomize 4 System Intro Videos.

Example Boxart: Altbeast.png, Altbeast..png
will randomize 2 Boxarts.

BUT NOT ANYMORE with Attract Mode 2.2.1.exe

I tried the nightly build: 1.6.2-49

It works now-- must something went wrong with the loader files-- they are 2 times bigger now.

Since Attract Mode 1.6.2 Demul ("The Mule") won't start anymore 

It worked in 1.5.2 & 1.6.0 and i did NOT update Demul (same Version)

I run very much everything MAME, MESS, Magic Engine (with batch CD mounting), FSUAE for CD32, Supermodel....every Emulator worked.

but not demul... it doesn't start the emulator itself

/folder/demul.exe
-run=atomiswave -rom="[name]"
>did work in previous versions


If i write in a batchfile (start.bat): "demul.exe -run=naomi -rom=%1"
Attract Mode:
/folder/start.bat
[name]
>It works without an escape key


Any Ideas?

Hello!

I understand the way how Filters works (Mame lists and so on), BUT

If you use Filters for Filename (for example: Filename "Super Mario Brus. (World)", "World Soccer (Europe), "European Soccer Challenge (USA)".

The Problem is if i filter all PAL or NTSC (or JAP):

Rule name contains .(World)|.(USA)
Rule name does not contain (Europe)|(Italy)|(Spain)

Some Game is always missing cause of EUROPEan Soccer (USA)
The Filter does IGNORE "(" ")" only search for World, USA, Europe

Any Tipps?






FOUND THE SOLUTION MYSELF!

On Github from Attract Mode...should be on the FRONTPAGE of Attractmode!
Write the Filter a little bit better!

No Intro Romset Filename Filtering (without XML, MESS)
 for the Megadrive (European Version) as an Example - 100% WORKING FILTER:

display   SEGA Megadrive (Europe)
   layout               Nostalgio HD
   romlist              SEGA Megadrive (Europe)
   in_cycle             yes
   in_menu              yes
   filter               All
   filter               Favourites

Hello and Welcome!

I try to answer your Question!

You have the Nes and Snes Skin from Mr. Omegaman! There you can change the Background and System Logo to every System you want.

Its the same spinwheel the only thing thats missing is the marquee (for consoles you should use flyer/boxarts). I will make backgrounds for systems and boxart view for them in the near future (and 16:9).

Hello!

I want to show you, what's possible by mixing (orbit, particel effects)... a little bit of Theme Codes!
It has animation (boxart/wb/wg). Everything rewritten to 16:9.
