I think it's already resolved, but if you haven't, just put "\" at the end of the rompath path
ex: rompath \ATTRACT_MODE\GAMES\RETROARCH\
ex: rompath \ATTRACT_MODE\GAMES\RETROARCH\

You can write to an .ini or .txt file via layout.nut example: hide_desktop=1 hide_desktop=0 (attract.ini)
