anyway for me that issue is not important because i solved with a modified mp3 track in loop for 30 minutes ... So i have all the time for select a game and when i return to the layout the music restarts !

I want to inform you about a bug (maybe) ... I had selected an mp3 track for bgm and when the track end , AM crash ... Ive just tried with some other tracks and i had same result ...

anyway your work is awesome

Well at the moment there are some technical limitation, for example in the options you can enable per-display backgrounds, And you can have per display sorting, box art mode etc because these features can be enabled or disabled "at runtime". The layout itself (like number of rows etc) is defined at the layout start and can't be changed after launch, and in Arcadeflow when you change display the layout is not reloaded so, at the moment, I'm sorry but it's not possible to change the tile layout per display

First of all , thank you for your great work , like always .

My question is : Is possible to have different layout settings per display ?

For example , is possible to change the number of rows in MAME display to "2" and set "1" rows in PLAYSTATION display, using the same layout ?

Hi all guys !!!

I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong place in the forum. In that case , please delete it !

I've just downloaded this layout named MIFLAT (thanks to mrmole21) from this topic :

The problem is that i can change the items only with up and down, like a normal vertical menu layout.

 If i move the pad left or right , it changes directly to the next emulator , but not the items on the main theme... I've tried to change the input controls, and then it works , but i lost the horizontal movement in the Keyboard search module ...

Anyone can help me ??

Hi Yaron !!! As always your work is great !

I have a little question for you ... About the Keyboard search module, i have designed different "pixel.png" for every system, but now , with only one folder to load the module, i'have lost this feature .

Hey there my search loving friend! I hope all is well.
We haven't lost any capability at all. What you have to do in order to have a custom background for the search is to create whatever search background you want, place it in the system layout folder you want it in and change a small bit of the existing layout code:

.keys_pos([ 0.05, 0.45, 0.9, 0.4 ])
.search_key( my_config["user_search_key"].tolower() )
.mode( "show_results" )
.text_font("BebasNeue Bold")
.bg_color(255,255,255,210) // first change
.text_color(0,255,0)
.keys_selected_color(0,255,0)
.bg("search_bg.png") // second change
.init()

and voilà! you can have whatever search background you want without system naming issues and without changing the module.

I attached the At-The-Arcade layout.nut + search_bg.png files for you to test. You can change the search_bg.png to whatever png file you want.

P.S
This is the proper way of doing it by the way - the module provides these built-in capabilities.

Hi Yaron !!! As always your work is great !

My idea is : create a folder into "gtc-kb" folder named "systems" and put in all png's files renamed like the systems , "NEOGEO.png" "FBNEO.png" "MEGADRIVE.png" so every layout will have a different background per-system when open the search window ...

How can i modify the module.nut to do this

Hello Yaron and thank you again for your awesome work !!

I have modified the module.nut file in Keyboard-search folder to align the letters by collumns and the final raw with "del - space - clr - done " buttons aligned too ...

If for you is good i can post the string modification for the file . Let me know !

I'm using 2.6.1 and as you suggested, i have deleted the layout and insert it again. But same results...

I also have deleted the layout parameters in ATTRACT.CFG file, but no results ...
