Solved it! Had to switch to fullscreen and restart.

Themes / Help with themes, just getting black!

Tried switching themes from the default attract man and keep getting almost nothing but black and a text list. Going to grid theme and it just displays highlighted boxes. Downloaded nevato and tried that and i just get a list of roms in the center of the screen. No graphics.
