Scripting / Model 2 + DemulShooter + ESC working!

Hi.

I was struggling with attract mode + DemulShooter + Model2 and the ESC key not closing the emulator (it minimized it)...
so after reading around here I found a working solution for my CRT cab setup.

Maybe it helps you too! 

I used only 2 files. You will have to change the paths for sure.

1=> Model2Launcher.au3 compiled to Model2Launcher.exe (with "AutoIt v3") Very simple, my first time. Right button on the .au3 file, compile to x86. That's it. It created an .exe file from the .au3 text file that runs demulshooter and model 2.

2=> .cfg file for the Model 2 emulator that will use the lightguns. This cfg launches the exe file with the rom. You will have to change the paths.

and.. that's it!  it's working and closing.  The ESC is controlled by the .exe file.

The “Exit to Desktop” option doesn’t bypass the exit command at all — it just skips the confirmation screen and then runs whatever you’ve defined as your exit command. So if your exit command is set to shutdown -s -t 00, AM is doing exactly what you told it to do.

Hi, I have the same problem. I can't see the video or the game logo, even though I've provided the path. I think there's an issue with the game's name; since it's a shortcut, something's wrong. Thanks if anyone has a solution.

Arcadeflow 17.7 is out!

The new build will only work from AM+ 3.2.0 onwards, please be careful not to mix versions:

AM+ up to and including 3.1.x only works with AF up to and including 17.6
AM+ from 3.2.0 requires AF 17.7 and viceversa.

I suggest you manually install AF 17.7 and after that upgrade AM+ without running AM+ before the update to avoid configuration files issues. Be careful and backup your setup before operating.

I can confirm that Arcadeflow 17.6 is not compatible.

That N64 Classic theme looks fantastic with the 64Pi case! It's cool how you adapted the SNES theme. Makes me want to dust off my old console. Seeing these old games in a new light reminds me of the impressive feats people pull off, like that one time I saw some guys doing some crazy dreadhead parkour in the city. It's amazing what you can do with familiar things when you think outside the box. I may actually try this! Thanks for sharing.

It sounds like you're facing some frustrating challenges with your USB devices while pairing your Bluetooth joystick. Have you tried adjusting the settings in AttractMode to ensure that USB devices are prioritized?
