« on: August 07, 2016, 07:48:16 AM »
I am interested in using led Blinky on rpi 3 with attract mode. Has anyone done this or know where to start? I did a search and turned up nothing. Thank you for your help.

LEDBlinky is a Windows application. It won't natively run on a Linux based Pi. As far as I know you could trying using Wine (a program that can run Windows apps in Linux) or you could try running Windows 10 on the Pi.

I'm not saying it can't be done but I don't think it will be easy.

So the next best thing would be to use goin and Python to control the LEDs... Looks like I've got my work cut out for me. I want to have only the buttons used for the specific emulator glow when in use. I haven't seen anyone do this with rpi..

I'm reviving this topic so people searching for a program to control their LEDs on an arcade cabinet using a Linux PC or raspberry pi can get it, is  ledspicer
I wrote this program last year for my arcade cabinet and is pretty simple to use.
