white background = not transparent / not lucid?

open your file with paint.net or GIMP (windows paint do not show transparency/lucidity).
 
if you see a chess pattern (white/grey cubes), your graphic is transparent/lucid


if you see white color, your graphic is not transparent/no lucid.
