Yeah..I don't think there are any..but for some reason I keep thinking there is a 7-button game...not sure why.

However that set up there would be good for 8-button fighters from the psx although a lot of them are on mame..and they are 6-button there..  ???

I just mapped out my control panel & started drilling holes.
4 buttons tops.
So Neo-Geo fighters maybe.

I can't remember all those buttons for mortal kombat type fighters.. LOL!

So 4 buttons total or 4 top 4 bottom? I'm just doing my CAD work for 2 cabinets in the next week or so, finally have some time on my CNC machine to actual cut em out now. lol

I'm doing a standard Neo Geo control panel.
Two player.
I don't care to play fighters really.
Just golden axe and metal slug and since I had the parts to do a dual 4 player i decided on the neo-geo layout to simplify things.

I'm with you on that, I'd say 80% of my gaming will be Galaga, DKong and Pacman. lol
Funny you should say Neo Geo I decided on this layout about 2 days ago, going to go with a vertical 19" 5:4 screen single player. I'm also in the middle of a dual player control panel with the Rpi3 built in so it can be played on my 112" screen rather than try and jam 2 people in on a tiny screen. ;)

I was gonna do a shump cabaret vert. but my kids wanted mario bros.
So i'm going with a two player caberet with an rpi2 and 19" horizontal lcd.
retroarch provides fake crt look.

Next up will be a classics vertical 17" bartop for my back porch.
3 buttons/4 way/2 1/2 trackball.
Probably use my other rpi2.

then a single player vert schump cabaret with possibly a 20" crt TV.
if it'll fit.
The cabaret plans I have only need one 4x8 sheet of ply or MDF.
took me half a day to cut & trial fit everything together.

my rpi3 with it's wifi built in is going to be my hot-tub controller ;)

I have an idea I want to have raspberry pi hooked to tv, then build like control panel like the picture I posted up the top and wire up 2 xbox360 wirless controller pads to the arcade controls so the sticks are wireless you can play it on bartop with batter pack inside and enjoy the wireless freedom

I've got a neo-geo mvs layout only somewhere for am..it's simple but works. Would go good with that I think.

http://forum.attractmode.org/index.php?

although if you have it decorated right you wouldn't need it I guess :P
