Cant exit Windows games in Attract Mode

Having trouble figuring out how to exit modern Windows games in Attract Mode on Windows 7.

Alt+f4 seems to be the only way to do that but is there another way I'm missing?

- exit dialogue, by the game itself? (Exit to Windows; End; whatever).

- an external script that waits for your key input to kill the game process in windows.
