Dir path variable to romlist folder (PC) ?

I swear I've seen in documentation fe. Variable that is for path to attract mode. I've tried fe.data_path and that didn't work. I've tried home, but that defaults to c:\. I know this is simple, but I can not find it. I want to avoid manually entering a path to romlist folder in user config/plug in. Any help is appreciated. This is for PC not PI. Thank you in advance!

Sorry, for not being clear. For a plug in. Instead of user config to enter a romlist folder, a fe.variable to just point to romlists folder.
