Found some nice arcade skins and created my newest theme TRI-Cab

So, I made a few changes based on suggestions here. There is a color frame around the middle selection box that changes color on a new selection. The sames goes for the animated pointer and title. Better or worse?

Idk the highlight kinda takes away from the theme because it is a different color. Try making the highlight "glow" Just my me being a non artist opinion though

Yeah, you might be right. Let me try those side overlays that I downloaded from verion and give that a whirl. Weeee...

So, I tried the overlay thingy and it gave me the idea to just turn down the alpha on the art_strip itself. This definitely helps the users eyes to focus on the middle selection. What do you think?

Try that dark overlay that I've uploaded. It is darker on the edges and lighter in the center - it will give you more "in shadow" effect.
You can skip the glow one - it was not that great anyway

At first I thought the non-selected marquees were black+white - which looks awesome, but I guess that's just that game??

I think that would look cool, put the non-selected ones in black+white. Not sure if you can just use an overlay or color for that, but I know there is a black and white shader you can use. I think the non-selected snap/videos might be a little too dark, just my opinion.

Not sure how verion's overlays would look so can't comment on that.

The snap pic looks much darker than it is. I have a new mask overlay that looks pretty good. Picture coming soon.

OK, I made some changes, hopefully for the better. Anyway, I thought the top was too busy. So, I made some graphic changes to match the bottom and added a logo. Added an animated hand pointer, maybe too much.

Also, added Verion's scanline filter on middle selection. Logo, still needs some work.
