Is there anyway you can save your scores in attract mode?

AM is just a frontend, saving high score will depend on emulator in question. You can use hiscore.dat in MAME , available here > http://highscore.mameworld.info/latest.htm

Other frontends have used hitotext.exe to show scores stored in MAME. It's possible in AttractMode but it would be limited to Windows installs and someone would need to write a little code (plugin/module) to make it happen. I think this plugin http://forum.attractmode.org/index.php?topic=1927.msg13403#msg13403 could be used as a starting point if you're interested.
