I set up an older Windows 10 PC to make an arcade machine, so I did a factory reset and brought my current Attract Mode setup with MAME onto it. The games menu (default attrac-man) freezes and spikes the CPU up to 100% simply from scrolling through it.
Most of the threads about this problem I found involved the video snaps, but I tried even deleting all my video snap files and having only images and the same still happens. It's especially sensitive after loading and exiting from a game. The default MAME wont even open.
