This layout is compatible con marquees and i have been experimenting with adding some crt effect to the screen (the shaders doesn't seem to work in retropie). You can enable or disable changing the cabinet in the layout options.

But a nother thing we need is a proper system wheel. And can finde anything good.
Something like this, would be really cool

Yeah, it's really nice. I don't understand why people don't want to share their creations. I want to make something like that but it's a lot of work and it will take time...

well, actually, there are things to improve...  :D The guy has some kind of fixation with Sonic... I don't understand what Metal Sonic is doing with the Atari 7800, lol. But it's a start...

No problem Cosmo! Hopefully you can incorporate some things from his layout nut with the motion of artwork. I'd recommend joining the group Project HyperPie on Facebook.

A guy in this form and on the Project HyperPie  just release his fade code  https://youtu.be/GXIq8bcN_Qo

Hursty drops a lot of his themes for us within the group like Hursty Blue, Snazzy,  and his Comic themes. David Wallace makes some great stuff too. Also they are working on the project Hyperpie image. Your work would be appreciated in the group man!!

Unfortunately i don't have facebook. But everyone is free to use my works as they please. ;D

Well, i've been working a bit on the main menu looks...

Not sure what would look better....

The first one uses simple png logos in a black background (i could make it a bit transparent), the other one uses the motion blue logos. Not sure about the pointer. Any suggestions?

upps.. Another thing. Would you prefer that blue and black background or diferent backgrounds per console?

I have been following your stuff on here for about a month now, and Its fantastic. I actually made an account for the forums just to say thanks for making them available to the masses.  FWIW I like the first design with the simple PNGs.

Cosmo, your displays/layouts are top notch!!!!! And integrate very easily in the motion blue image. If you could make a Dreamcast one with the orange swirl I would greatly appreciate it.  I'm eagerly checking everyday for new stuff. Thanks so much!!

I will prefer different backgrounds for each console.
Don't quit know about the wheel. But I think I like the top one best

That's so cool. I will try to get the main Wheel to Work with Hursty's. Don't know if that is changede the same way as the others :D

I just got a bit insecure about how to change the main layout. I can se that it is located elsewhere that the other layouts. right now i have the Robospin. I guess that i don't just copy over the files in the main layout section?

If like me you're running it through a TV you have to downscale the image, putting it to 1920x1080 worked for me (HD TV resolution)

To save you time here it is with both cabinets downscaled, popped in a MAME pointer instead of the rocket thing and I edited the .nut file so you can have both the brick background and game flyers showing together, I really like it check out the picture below.

I did also join to give a big thanks to Cosmo, love your themes, been checking this thread everyday for updates slowly changing all my themes to yours.  I know you've mentioned you're still to do the ZX Spectrum, MSX, Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga.  Any plans for the Capcom Play Systems, Final Burn Alpha and MSX2? If not looking forward to the template to try something myself.
