I do have my build backed up thankfully. if there is really no way to update without losing my attract mode then I will simply leave it as is.

Just want to put this out there.

I am willing to pay for information on how to get my attract mode working properly once again. if anyone has upgraded from jessie to stretch and has gotten their attract mode working properly again I will pay you for that information.
