Shared Highscores with friends

Hi, I was wondering if there is anything out there that can share highscore files with friends automatically and show it in the attract-mode frontend for the game. Would be great to see what my friends scores are.

Not sure on how hard this would be;
cab would need internet access
maybe mame versions need to be the same
Could upload to a shared dropbox and then to a folder named after the person
frontend skin would need to pull in the data and post the top scores with the persons folder/name

I remember seeing a project for this ages ago, maybe for hyperspin.

Anyway, just a thought.

I like the idea of this. If we went by scout's honor we could just share an image for each game that people were interested in, and have that image available to include in a layout based on the rom title.

Automated would be nice...I've been hoping to see a release of ignition. http://ignition.io/
