Hey there! I absolutely love that theme. Actually built an arcade box based on that and it looks amazing.
I do have a major issue though - it looks like AM keeps running in the background hogging CPU usage after I launch games. I don't get that issue with other AM themes. Could you please advise?

not sure, Iv never had that issue, so i am going to guess its due to AttactMode thinking its still the focus window and your game isnt taking full control of the focus window
id try if using rocket-launcher playing with fade title and setting that for games that do weird things like that

Hey atrfate, thanks for your reply.

I fiddled around with all the fade, pre-launch and whatnot options I could think of in RLUI but no dice. Even the 'Suspend Frontend' option in RLUI main settings doesn't fix the issue.

I feel I should stress that simply going to Configure > Displays > Nesica UI > Layout and choosing another layout fixes the issue. It only occurs when NXL HD / SD / Vertical is selected, so I guess my RLUI settings are correct?

For the record:
- I tested this on two different setups (my arcade box, Q4400 with 8 Gb RAM and my desktop, i5-4460 @3.20 GHz with 16 Gb RAM, both Win10 64 bits) -> Repro each time.
- I redownloaded AM NXL from scratch and manually reconfigured RLUI -> Repro.
- I tried a variety of games: Nesica, doujin games, Steam -> Repro each time. I haven't tried another emulator than PCLauncher though.

CPU usage also shoots up when AM regains focus (up to 80% on my i5), although I'd venture it has more to do with AM using software video decoding.

I bypassed RLUI/PCLauncher by using this very simple windows_games.cfg to launch a game directly, and still got the same issue. So it doesn't appear to be related to RLUI after all.

ı made like this.
Games are starting with this method but the attractmode is still working at the backround, and you can hear the music of the Snap Videos.
I mean normally when you enter the game attractmode menu is paused and you only can play the game. But with this method, it is still working backround. there will be 2 sounds. Game sound and menu sound.
What should i do ?

Hi Noob here. Question: I'm running retropie on a raspberry pi 3 currently with hyperpie attract mode theme. Has anyone gotten this theme on Retropie and will it work? I'm wondering what I would need to D/L to attempt to add this if it's even possible.

Yes please let me know how and what exactly to d/l and then how to add it. I know how to change the display screens so i'm wondering what all i need to do to add this.

to give you an idea I'm running the base hyperpie image on a 128gb micro sd on my Retopie this is before the AM update so not sure which version it is.

Most times when re-entering a game I get the error

AN ERROR HAS OCCURED [the index 'ScaleWidthHeight' does not exist]

I know its the theme as t doesn't occur when on another theme.

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much for this theme -- it's just wonderful.

I'm not sure if it's still being supported, but just wanted to see if there was a depository of art anywhere for the wheel in this theme (other than the excellent Cave and Taito ones linked to in the first post)?

I want to add a bunch of other Japanese shmups to my build, and would rather not have to photoshop the art from scratch for each of them if at all possible!

Secondly, I'm using the NXL Theme only, as I don't want to use Rocketlauncher. The theme is indeed drag and drop, but it's not pulling in the game logos as it should. Do I need to correct a path, or do something else to fix this?
