General / Switch Collection/Rom List

Hello,
is there a way to easily select inside a system (for example Mame) the desidered Collection/Rom List ?

I set up mame and i have all the games listed inside Mame.txt , with filter option i cannot select all the games with this driver value "namcos11.cpp; , but with other tools i'm able to do this and i created a new list (Namco11.txt) but i would like to select this inside "mame" enviroment.

The only solution i found is creating a new display mode called Namco 11 and assigning that playlist. Is the only way to do what i need ?

what happens, if you start the .bat outside AM / from windows explorer with double click? same message?

do you mean:
the video should change after a specific time (instead of complete it / play it to end)?

for example: a game video file (with 60 seconds playtime) have to end after 10 seconds > then the next video plays (10 seconds long) > next video after 10 seconds > and so on?

-have a look here
-check your romlist : your_AM_folder\romlists\your_display.txt
-check the colums for according entries or identical keywords of your "SNK neogeo64 games" > exists "Hyper Neo Geo 64" in Manufacturer-Column?
-edit missing or different entries to same or identical keywords > SAVE
-filter in AM to these keywords

OR

mostly the Rating-column and Extra-column is empty.
you can add your own keywords there too (similar discussion here)

If you always need some help I'm french too and can help to translate in a good french too.

Thanks a lot for your collaboration.
Now im finishing the pending functions (ingame controls, bezels and debug code and bugs).
When i get a stable and ready-to-beta version, i will count with all of you to do the final version of the translations.

Thanks a lot for your interest on the theme. I will work hard to have a stable and enjoyable beta very very soon.

I like this theme a lot, very nice usage of effects in both the system selections screen as well as the game select screen. I've downloaded the (latest?) layout from your dropbox in the OP. There are a couple of things I would really like to know how you have achieved it:

1) the black text outline on the gametitles. I have similar functionality in the theme I'm working on but it is based on a shader. I dont see any shaders in your code, how did you create the effect?

2) the pulsing outline on the game titlles. I'm guessing it uses the same technique as the outline code but adds an animation somewhere?

 PS. are you on discord as well?
