Arcadeflow 17.6 is out!

- Added option to run at half speed for Apple Silicon
- Added Virtual Console U for Wii U
- Added Capcom CPS Changer system
- Minor bug fixes

This version adds a couple of new systems, but also introduces a fix for a recent issue with Apple Silicon macs that tend to run at double the expected speed because of an OpenGL driver glitch. It is mitigated if you set the old option for Adjust Performance, but it's cleaner to just enable the new "Half Speed" option. This is a hacked countermeasure hoping the issue is fixed sooner or later...

First off thank you for the work put into this theme i really enjoy using it..  My question is am setting up a 3 sided cocktail cabinet and trying to work out if there is a way to have 2 layouts one vertical and one horizintal?
I have added 2 copies off arcade flow into the layouts folder ( called one _vert ) but for the life of me i cant seem to work out a way to get the _vert to rotate? any pointers would be great!..

Hi, I'm not sure I understood what you mean with a "3 sided cocktail cab", if you want a layout that can work both horizontally and vertically, Arcadeflow can do it, and there's a hotkey defined in AM+ where you can either trigger rotation via the hotkey, or force a rotation. Is this what you are looking for?

EDIT: So as I thought, a three sided cocktail cab is one where you can sit either on the long edge (and see an horizontal screen) or on the short edges (and see a vertical screen). If you need the layout to switch accordingly, I suggest adding a button and linking it to the rotation control in AM+, that should do the trick!

Arcadeflow 17.5 is out!

- Improved German translation file (thanks ScherzKeks)
- Fixed bug in miltifilter code
- Added Vircon32, LowRes NX and Philips P2000 systems

I know this is a release that leaves a lot of open points (two issues, the marquee on top options etc) but I wanted to release it anyway, I'll use the vacations to work a bit more on Arcadeflow 🙂

In the meantime, enjoy!

After crosschecking the cfg file of each emulator, i found out the scraping files of media all in $HOME/emulator... which means C:\Users\xxxx\ in Windows perspective. I thought I got it wrong for the folder of AM. Solved! 

Sorry I missed your questions and I'm terribly late, indeed Arcadeflow saves scraped data in the media folder you define in your .cfg file for each emulator. So be careful if you have curated media because it's going to overwrite it :O

Hi,

tag filter doesn't seem to work in multi filter.

I've put together a fix, I completely messed the multifilter Tags management in 16.0 and even generic multifilter had issues, but if you can try the branch "174_wip" and let me know if it fixes the issue.

tag filter doesn't seem to work in multi filter.

Furthermore, in interactive editing the Tags line (in Multi Filter) starts a game

Will look into it ASAP, is the issue only when you are in a "collection" layout, or even in normal layouts?

EDIT: Ok, it seems it's a bug that dates back to 16.0 :O I'll check the code.

Hmm not good, can you share your pref_layoutoptions file from Arcadeflow directory? You can send it to my email paolo.zago@gmail.com or come to AF discord server where it's easier do follow the debug discussion... I'll do more tests tonight by the way.

I'm not sure if it's 100% related to your issue, but there's been some other scraping stuck feedback so you can check in branch 173_wip where a workaround is in place to avoid it. Let me know if it gets better...

What emulator do I need for Namco 2x6?

And what configuration to run a game please?

While Namco 2x6 is supported as a system by Arcadeflow, I've never emulated that, I think there's some ps2 emulator that can support the system but I'm not 100% sure. You can try asking in the emulator section or on the Attract Mode discord server...

AM 2.7.0 is obsolete, from revision 16.2 Arcadeflow requires at least AM+ 3.0.6

Whoops, sorry,i didn't realize there has been a fork. When I've read about AM+ x.x.x I thought i was referred to AM version x.x.x or above and not the fork Attract Mode Plus.

It will be released with 17.3 but you can already test it with the branch 173_wip, which can be downloaded from the "install from repository" menu

i've tried to take a look at older posts but I didn't find any clue on what's going on. I've extracted ArcadeFlow 17.1 (same error with 17.2) in "layouts" folders in a AttractMode 2.7.0 installation folder but I can't make it working. Other themes, like the Nevato one, are working.

AM 2.7.0 is obsolete, from revision 16.2 Arcadeflow requires at least AM+ 3.0.6
