so ive seen the question multiple times and ive even asked a few.. but im assuming then that there is no way to make my marquee screen show something as the intro is playing or is there??

im planing on making videos on the different layouts and such. if anyone wants me to cover somthing in particular let me know. the first one im working on is  Attract_Unified BR Beta 2.0 (Total Custom)  by karlosworkz (anime-c)

also if anyone is interested in showing off your build or cab ill gladly showcase it as well.

General / 2 marquee screens

is it possible to use 2 screens for marquee and have them do separate things? like one shows marquee other shows game play or other video. or maybe in menu show next game in the other? or for whatever you may want it for.

i had an idea and was wondering if it was feasible...

i made my own layout with ambuilder about 6 months ago and it worked beautifully until the other day. my lastrun.text says it cant find the aspect ratio and attract crashes.

any ideas?

actually all custom layouts eventually do this. when i switch it to a layout that was with attract like cools it works fine.

whats baffling is , is that it WORKS fine for like 6 MONTHS or so THEN decides to start crashing...

any feedback would be MOST APPRECIATED!

General / groovy arcade screen goes to sleep ( this is getting out of hand!! )

ok so ya im not a linux person as ive said many times on here but im not ignorant to it either but im ONCE AGAIN having issues and cant find a solution.

took me over a year but finally figured out how to work groovy and it works beautifully EXCEPT....

after 10 to 20 min my screen goes to sleep...
how the F... do i stop that???
i found a work around for arch but it DOES NOT work for groovy..

any one got any ideas?? PLEASE!!!

funny how all this arcade stuff you find on line and its all 10 to 15 years old... and noone is updating majority of the stuff???
as popular as arcades are right now their should be an abundance of updated info....... but nope.... (ok sorry rant over) lol

has any one had any experience with them as light guns? i got 1 to work but if i have 2 it erases my control configs for that game

any info would be appreciated.

im using touchmote , tried glovepi and another one name escapes me atm.
no matter what i do i cant get my pc to recognize 2 motes at once.
i can play games with 2 motes but i have to redo the configurations every time i use them but if i use only 1 its fine and seen by mame as joy9 but if i use 2 its 10 and 11 and i have to redo the  controller config
can they be permanently paired  ??

when i make a layout it works nice. butt.... only 1/4 of the screen is used no matter what i set res to.

what am i doing wrong??

can the game list be replaced with marquees in place of say like wheel art??

i love this layout and would like to change the game list to marque and have marquee light up instead of pointing at it.
