maximus arcade "drop in" theme front

So what i am making is a "drop in theme" front....

how it works is you will drop a source file in "your own theme" folder
then add a script to the end of you layout.nut file 

run and enjoy....left and right = pick your emulator,, up and down  = enter your theme..

It's definitely a nice start for a "main" menu, especially since there are none available at the moment. Also, I'm sure this one will be quite popular since there are probably many current and former maximus arcade users out there, looking to try a new frontend like attractmode

ya that would be to...old maximus....

anyway just need time to clean up the code......and get all the art together...and test

unfortunately I am just starting my work week....

as of right now you just need to add the script to the end of any layout.nut theme..

but their is probably a way to have a shared "do.nut" file but i don't know anything a bought that

might be time to learn it...

This looks great as a system selection screen. Any chance of uploading it then?

sorry but this was something that i was working on,,,,right on the cusp ,,,before Display-Menu was released in 2.2.1
 the idea was for a simple "display-menu"..witch was resolved.. and better  a day or two later..
never finished it...

now it might be pretty cool and easier to code... ill have a look

Oh, I didn't realise that. I thought this WAS a theme for the display menu! Hah. But yeah, I'm not a fan of any of the existing display menus, but this one looks great. I'm surprised there isn't anything more like the Emulation Station system selection screen or your example here, they seem like the more obvious choices.
