exit to black screen

Front end will launch a mame game fine. i exit. i launch another game. i exit. then it black screens but i can still hear the videos and all in the background and move the joystick to select games, but it wont show it on screen.

any help?

Windows 7. It was working at one point and now it isn't after I upgraded to SSD. It's like it goes back to the front end after exit, you can still move around in the front end, makes sounds. Everything...but picture stays frozen. Only after exiting mame that second time. First time is fine.

Any idea how to fix this on Attract-Mode 1.6.2. The work around is to swipe to right or left to change the emulator selection screen.
