Controls, possible to change?

Hi

I'm trying to change the Exit command from "Esc"  for Exit with confirmation to exit to desktop.
reason is that I want a simple/clen exit which leads to shutdown i.e. P1 Start and P2 Start depressed simulataniously from the list.

I cant make the change permanent, perhaps because I dont save the change when I use the GUI.

Is the keymap stored locally in a text file?

Press Tab > Controls > at 'Exit to Desktop' : press Enter > Add Input > press : ESC > Confirm with Enter
At C:\attract\attract.cfg in line#9 you'll found exit_no_menu : Escape (instead exit : Escape)

Check this:
-you have write-permissions with your user-account to attract-folder/-files
-disable your virus-scanner
