I bought a RPI2 B and never actually finished my project because I couldn't get the wifi working and running back and fourth with sd card got old. Having wifi and bluetooth built into the new RPI3 will be an awesome addition. No more d*cking around.

This is what makes the c.h.i.p. nice.
The downside is the rca video out and lack of video acceleration.

Maybe I just shift gears - I was planning to try arcade emu on RPi1 and use RPi2 for media player - but maybe I just go one generation up with RPi 3 available.

I think most people are using Retropie or Pi Play.

Ok so pi play or retropie? I do like retropie it has worked great so far.

The only thing that ticks me off is no four player support..bomber man anyone? It can be done on a pc...why not port it over to the pi? Don't get me wrong I know programing is not easy (or magic ) I just figured that the underlying support was there...I tripped over my snes cord though I was fine killed the snes pad though

With bluetooth on board you should be able to get four wireless snes pads working great..or some xbox360/ps3 pads rocking. In fact if it will handle psx ok now I might build it into my dead psx case..one day..that would be..a pain? not sure...

I would like to get away from retroarch and make a multi emulator system like my pc...but I have to admit RA does do some impressive things..I was stunned to see samurai spirits working on my WII and then my PI
