Concept layout

A simple layout concept (16:9) inspired by Dom DXecutioner's XBMC Origins theme post from XBMC4XBOX and XBMC4XBOX media views.

Maybe someone likes it and improves it  :D

But the genre icon is always "unknown" for me. How can I fix it? I thought I just put catver.ini in my mame folder, I've rebuild mame gamelist in AM and still nothing.

To import catver.ini & nplayers.ini, do this:

TAB, go to emulators, select emulator, for example MAME then edit the additional import files(s) and add the paths for both files. So, it should look something like this.

\attract\catver.ini;\attract\nplayers.ini

Then rebuild your romlist.

late to the game on this one, but I wanted to chime in to say I really like this. I have it applied across my whole system. My favorite kodi layout (low list) is now my favorite attract mode layout :-). Just curious, did anybody add anything else to this layout? i did a small change to have the game snaps (static) be the background art if fanart isn't available and added the system name to the bottom right corner in place of the clock

I'm a huge novice with the layout coding, so it's pretty janky. I can share if you want, but I didn't do much. Here are some shots of it being used as the display menu layout as well as for a system:

Sure jvlk. Here's the .nut file to use, and then place the preview folders/contents in the /.attract/menu-art/ directory to use the backgrounds i have (ie the giant NES)
