how can I use a custom retroarch config file?

I have a collection of Banpresto roms, how can I use a custom retroarch config file for setting an specific overlay for banpresto. It always get mame-libretro\retroarch.cfg and I want banpresto\retroarch.cfg. thanks

Change this file /opt/retropie/configs/mame-libretro/emulators.cfg  (\\retropie\configs\mame-libretro\emulators.cfg if using the SAMBA share) to point to your new retroarch.cfg file.

@howlerbr Put a config file in the same directory as your roms.
So if your game/romset is called sailormn.zip, create a file called sailormn.zip.cfg to put the override settings in.

That will override other retroarch settings.
