When I start attract mode a black dos windows opens and shows the behind the scene magic, this window was minimizing on its own, now it sits there and I need to click on attract mode.  thoughts?

I am still trying to filter out clones.   I went to this forum post: http://forum.attractmode.org/index.php?topic=200.0   then I went here  https://github.com/mickelson/attract/wiki/Example-filters.   I believe I followed the steps but the clones still appear.   I added this to my attract CFG file

filter               "No Clones"
      rule                 CloneOf not_equals .*

But when I launch Attract mode I still have a ton of clones and can't seem to see a difference.    When I press tab and go to display then go to MAME I can also see the rule is listed

Currently when I launch a title I can't exit through the controller and have to use the esc key on the keyboard.  I know this is possible on a pi, but how do I set this up on a windows based machine?

I have set up the newest version of AttractMode on a windows 10 PC, when I launch a game it just opens RetroArch if I leave the command argument blank, if I put something like "[romfilename]" it doesn't even attempt to load the game or retroarch

I have the newest version of attract mode, so I am not 100% sure what you mean there.  In your previous post you suggested  that I enable hardware (mmal) decoding on the pi.    Can you further explain these options?

I am using a raspberry Pi 3

I put my snaps in the right folder, named them correctly and startup attract mode.   When go into the game the snap starts to load, stops and then goes gray.

I have been using t he pie for years with emulation station and just stumbled upon this video:

I have heard of attractmode but never realy saw it.

I downloaded his image and tried to burn it to a brand new and freshly formatted 32GB SD card only to get an error saying the SD card was to small.

So I then downloaded attractmode and burned it.   

First mine boots to an option menu not the system selection mode.   How do I do this?

How to add themes?

How to I get it to scrape all the snaps and images and wheels?
