There's the option menu EXTRA or OVERVIEW

EXTRA shows the romlist extra
OVERVIEW shows the scraper / ....

but you have to use the last version 1.0.4

cant get extra overview text to be smaller. what do i need to change? text also not the same as the theme setting

Layout Options / extra charsize / than press ENTER and UP to change font size, ENTER to confirm.

The font in OVERVIEW are lowercase I know...
if in future AM version changes something I need, I post a new version with overview uppercase

Thanks jedione, I think here there are many guys who write better than me. I'm not a professional coder but in this period I really love writing AM themes because it joins design, gaming, coding, hardware prototyping, it's a very complete hobby. :)

CHECKER 1.0.2 theme for Attract Mode 2.4.1

This is the theme I wrote to check the artworks and romlists of my systems.

The theme works only on 2.4.1 because unfortunately with the last update (2.5.0) the behaviour when an artwork miss has changed.

STRIPES 0.9.8 theme for Attract Mode 2.4.1

Design is inspired by the old original SEGA console packaging.

I made personally the 4 old sega logos (Genesis, SegaCD, 32x, segacd32x) because the svg finded in internet are not very accurate.
Inside there's the font Sega used to make all logos, (Sega has slightly modified the proportions but it is very similar)

This theme works with all system but the colors are configured only for these consoles: Genesis, Sega-CD, SegaCD32X, 32X and Saturn.

There's a lot of options to manually customize it as your preferences.

When an art miss it shows the previous instead leaving an empty space, I don't like this behaviour.
But I really love AM and the infinite way it can be skinned!

Usually I use this function:

But I don't know why it doesn't work with Overview, when it miss, returns the previuos Overview

Hi jedione, to increase your coding skills you have to read the squirrel documentation

Squirrel is very similar to C++ and Java so reading a book of C++ or Java is a good thing.

Inside my HUD there are many functions that write a message "MISSING" if there's no data.

This theme show tech specs and logos of hardware machines, mame is a software that emulate arcades, that's why is not included.
Maybe in future I'll add arcades machines, like naomi, cps-2, ecc...

If you want to put a generic "Arcade" logo, it must be stored in HUD 1.0.0/assets/logos, and to make it visible you have to write your logo name in "art_by_system.nut" don't worry is very easy,
but for tech specs it does not have much sense writing data for all arcades in one generic area, because each machine has it's own specs.

Data specs are written in specs.nut, if anyone want to implement any kind of system I appreciate if will it share with me  :)

I'm finishing the 1.0.3 version with a text scroller and a more colored background.
