General / Re: Using Attract-Mode on Steam Link shows both desktops
« Last post by informix on Today at 07:01:58 PM »
Found a bunch of posts around the web stating you can have it "follow" your mouse around duel desktops. But it all seemed a bit "off"

Eventually i just ended up going through all the settings in Steam Link and Attract Mode.. And found a duel desktop setting.. I turned it to off..And its full screen.  Not sure that is the "fix" But its all i need..

While this might work, I have not been able to get it to write over my existing exe. Should I unzip the 64/86 bit to my existing folder and rename it? I can launch all of them, but my games and art work do not show, it is like a fresh install. Still getting the 302 error. While chances are I am an idiot, I'm still not getting it.

You say this was fixed days ago, yet you provide no info on how to apply the fix. You "assume" we all know how to compile. How in layman's terms do we fix it? Do we open a file in notebook++ and just change a line of code, or a website link? If so which file? Do we need some sort of compiling software? If so which? How would you use it to fix this? You saying this has already been fixed "link" is kinda pretentious. Using Win 10 btw on this rig for reasons. Ubuntu on everything else.
See this thread, http://forum.attractmode.org/index.php?topic=2324.0 and you can download a nightly build that will fix the issue :)

Themes / Re: New Theme - Unified
« Last post by dmmarti on Today at 09:41:23 AM »
This is a very old theme ..... however, in the layout.nut file ... find this section and delete everything that comes after it.

///////////////////////////////////////

// Themed Overlay Display Menu
// Add this block of code to the very end of any layout.nut file to have
// a centered theme-able menu

Remove all of the lines that are below that section.  This theme was written well before the displays menu could be assigned a layout/theme. By removing those lines in the layout.nut file, that should let Attract Mode work normally.

saying i "fundamentally miss understood" is possible an understatement.  I had somehow completely missed the "next filter" and "previous filter" options.. Seeing that might have pointed me in the right direction..   Its funny how missing something so basic sets you on a path, and you are so intent to find your way ON that path.. you never think to look at another path..

Saying thanks again.. And sorry for seems now a very silly question.
